HEE wet packed-bed scrubbers provide an efficient and practical means of removing acidic and caustic mists and gases from corrosive exhaust streams. Scrubbers operate on two fundamental principles mass transfer and impaction by which the contaminants are transferred from the exhaust to a liquid phase

maintained within the scrubber. Once the contaminants are captured they can be neutralized within the scrubber to form an inert salt that is safely discharged from the scrubber.
• HEE is a recognized leader in the packed-bed fume scrubber market. Years of experience and testing have qualified us to provide a proven product where quality, scrubbing efficiency and ease of maintenance matter most.
• HEE's computer-aided process modeling enables each scrubber selection to be custom tailored to ensure that we meet your needs.
• Our engineers review each application, then custom design solutions to suit your specific requirements. Our ability to be flexible with custom designs means that we meet your requirements instead of asking you to meet ours.
• HEE combines advanced computeraided process modeling along with more than three decades of manufacturing experience and a proven track record of installations as evidence of our ability to meet your needs. We also stand behind our products with a guarantee of service that places HEE at the top of our field.
• Premium quality resin and glass systems with resin rich interiors for maximum corrosion resistance, along with fire retardant and UV stabilized exteriors.
• Integral sump and pump box design for seamless construction, which allows for a leak-proof sump and security
• Transitions are engineered to offer the optimum laminar flow throughout the entire length of the scrubber, which allows maximum scrubbing efficiency and minimum pressure losses.
• Ease of servicing components, most of which can be done while the unit is in operation to save unnecessary and costly non-scheduled shutdowns.
